Unlike most filmmakers, Hendrico studied mechanical engineering at the University of Potchefstroom before he realized he had a deep passion for telling stories and creating visual art through video. After working as an engineer for a few years, he decided to risk it all and pursue a career in filmmaking as a cinematographer. He studied cinematography and editing at various online film schools and attended a cinematography workshop in Norway.

Hendrico is now living his passion as a freelance cinematographer and editor. He loves telling stories that provoke emotion and makes a difference in the eye of the viewer.
